Kindness Challenge
During October and November students and teachers at Bryant participated in a 3 week Kindness Challenge. Students participated in lunch time activities that helped students to be empathetic and aware of others’ feelings. To kick off the Challenge students wrote examples of ways they can be kind to one another. The closing activity was to Sprinkle Kindness Everywhere! Student Government frosted 400 cookies that students were than able to "sprinkle" with kindness. The Kindness Challenge was built upon powerful research demonstrating that teaching kindness can increase student engagement in academics and reduce negative behavior that impedes learning. Students enjoyed the activities and classroom lessons and we will continue to build off this challenge as the year continues.
Bryant STARS
Teachers had amazing things to say about our students and we wanted to share this with them. After collecting positive comments about every 7th Grade Student we made stars and handed them out to students to show them that we believe in them and all 7th Grade Students at Bryant are STARS!
